Financial Literacy: Personal Budgeting (grades 5+)

This week, we’ll dive into the realm of personal budgeting. From common bills and expenses, money management strategies, taxes and insurance, and more, learn how to properly budget through sweet treats and interactive games!

Educate&Empower, a youth led organization with the purpose of promoting financial literacy to NJ students, is holding a four-week program at Glen Rock Library for students in grades 5 and up. The program consists of four main topics: budgeting, investing, debt management, and saving, with one class focusing on one topic. Attendees are encouraged, but not required, to join each week on Saturdays for a fun yet informative class consisting of engaging activities and applicable information.
